NIEHOFF XXXIV, the Library’s only annual fundraiser is October 21, 2023 featuring Erik Larson.

Larson is the author of six New York Times bestsellers, most recently The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz, which examines how Winston Churchill and his “Secret Circle” went about surviving the German air campaign of 1940-41. His other books include The Devil in the White City; In the Garden of Beasts; Isaac’s Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History; Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania; and Thunderstruck.
