Walnut Street Poetry Society

Our longest running poetry group is the Walnut Street Poetry Society (WSPS). In 2023, the group will continue discussing Romantic Poetry. We started with the British Romantics in 2022 and are reading on to see their influence in modern poetry up until today.

The Walnut Street Poetry Society was founded in 2004 and is devoted to the reading and study of poetry. Sessions are moderated by Dr. Norman Finkelstein, poet and recently retired professor of English at Xavier University, as well as group members. Meets in person and virtually via Zoom, the second Wednesday each month, except July & August.

Series subscription only: $35 members/$45 nonmembers.
