The Library has a lot of discussion groups that help you plan out your reading and strategically tackle a TBR. But sometimes, we read a book and just need to talk about it NOW, as soon as possible, with other readers. That's why we created Pop-Up Book Discussions.

The new retelling of 1984, Julia by Sandra Newman, sparked the interest of Mercantile member Emily Dilley. She'll be leading our conversation of this classic and its modern version.
