Our longest running poetry group is the Walnut Street Poetry Society (WSPS). In 2024, the group will celebrate its 20th anniversary reading a selection of contemporary poets.
The Walnut Street Poetry Society was founded in 2004 and is devoted to the reading and study of poetry. Sessions are moderated by Dr. Norman Finkelstein, poet and recently retired professor of English at Xavier University.
Meets in person and virtually via Zoom, the second Wednesday each month, except July & August. Readings are emailed in advance of each session.
