The Black Experience Book Club is a community-driven book club exploring the richness, challenges, and triumphs of the Black experience through literature and conversation.

This month we will be reading The Becoming of Gunther Ferguson by local author and BEBC member Christina Miller. Set in Becoming, an all-Black town with hidden secrets and brooding atmosphere, The Becoming of Gunther Ferguson follows Reverend Carl Madison over a single stormy weekend as he confronts his understanding of purpose and truth.
