A Year of Austen: Pride & Prejudice

For more than two centuries, Jane Austen's books have captivated readers and inspired copycats and adaptations. We're going to spend a year finding out why.

Jane Austen finished six novels in her 41 years. Beginning on her 250th birthday, we'll read through all of them over the course of the next 12 months, starting with Sense & Sensibility and ending with Persuasion. A different Library member will lead each conversation. Whether you're reading Austen for the first time or you've lost count of your rereads, whether you can join us for all six discussions or just for your favorite Austen novel, we're excited to read these classics together!
