We’ve been tackling books together in our In Pieces series since 2016. We break them into manageable pieces, focusing on one book over a handful of sessions, and consider why they hold such importance in the literary canon.
This summer, we'll return to The Odyssey, breaking into pieces the latest translation by Daniel Mendelsohn. Library member Penny Cobey will lead our conversations.
We'll talk about this classic in four pieces: June 11 & 25 and July 9 & 23.
Registration required. Free to Mercantile members; $40 for series for nonmembers.
