Downtown Writers Group

Using poetry & writing prompts to ignite creativity. If there is a piece or project you are working on this is an ideal place to work & share it. This is a fledgling group so we will adapt to writers’ needs.

Elena Estella Green is a Poet and a facilitator with Women Writing for (a) Change (womenwriting.org)
She currently facilitates workshops at CAC, The Main Library, and The Well. Elena’s work has appeared in numerous anthologies. Originally from New York City, she studied creative writing at the NYU Gallatin Program and at The College of New Rochelle. Elena has won some poetry prizes and fellowships.
