Peregrine Haiku Society Road Trip to Haiku Trail

Take poetry beyond the page and into the landscape with a special joint outing from the Renga Roadtrip and Peregrine Haiku Society. Participants will meet at The Mercantile Library before traveling by bus to the Haiku Trail in Oxford, Ohio.

Along the trail, you’ll encounter haiku woven into the landscape, offering a chance to explore the relationship between poetry, nature, and place. As you walk, we’ll consider how a few carefully chosen words can transform the way we see our surroundings.

After exploring the trail, we’ll gather over lunch to write our own haiku inspired by the experience before boarding the bus back to Cincinnati.

As the culminating experience of the Renga Roadtrip series, this outing invites you to slow down, look closely, and discover how poetry can turn an ordinary walk into something unexpected.
