Hours & Directions

The Library is located in the Mercantile Library building at 414 Walnut Street, between 4th and 5th Streets. Enter through the revolving doors, then take the express elevator on your left up to the 11th Floor.

Monday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday: 9:00am – 7:00pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Parking

Garages and on-street spots available. Closest to the Library are Fountain Square North and South (410 Vine Street). Mabley Place Garage is just a few blocks away, with entrances at 410 Race Street and 28 West 4th Street. If you see a parking spot grab it! Better yet, take the bus or the streetcar.
